The rooms are very good. The staff is friendly, smiling and service-minded - apart from one boy in the reception, who was haughty, and interrupted me when I was speaking to him. The menu book is very good and informative.
The air cooling is exaggerated. Both in part of the reception room and in part of the restaurant the cooling fan made me wish that I was back in my apartment in Norway. Some of the sympathetic staff members in the reception and in the restaurant would benefit from an extra English language course. The written English announcements in my room and in the lift made me wish that the hotel had employed an English language consultant. The text in the lift is almost incomprehensible During part of my stay the "music" in the restaurant was terrible. I cannot understand why the hotel chooses Uesian noise when Thailand has so much soft and pleasant music.
